Board Meeting
April 6, 2020
Meeting called to order at 6:15 p.m. Quorum established
Google conference call, Floresville, Texas 78114
Board members present: Philip Vipond, President; Art Morgan 1st Vice President; Charlie Johns, 2nd Vice President;
Karen Turner, Treasurer; Theresa Morehous, Secretary. Rebecca Hopp-Adelman, Welcoming Committee Chair
Secretary’s report:
Minutes were read from March 11, 2020. Motion was made to accept as read by Karen Turner and seconded by Charlie
Johns. Motion passed 4-0
Treasurer’s report:
Checking account- expenses $68.60; deposits $446.43; ending balance 4/3/2020 $15,252.61.
Savings account- as of April 3, 2020 $2,529.65; Edward Jones as of 4/5/2020 $36,012.50.
Ending balance all accounts $53,794.76
Motion made to accept report by Theresa Morehous and seconded by Charlie Johns. Motion passed 4-0
OLD BUSINESS:
Discussion about property 114 Palo Verde. The board agreed to give owner additional 30 days, (60 days to 90 days), to
pay fine and move structure on property. Original date of notification of violation was March 11, 2020 with 60 days to
comply, May 11, 2020. The due date will be moved from May 11, 2020 to June 11, 2020. Property owner stills need to
pay the fine of $1,000 and will be given the opportunity to pay in payments of $333.34 due immediately, $333.33 due
May 11, 2020 and the remainder of $333.33 on June 11, 2020 and the property owner must start taking structure down.
ACC:
112 Palo Verde has built a shed 1’ from fence line, without submission or approval to the ACC. Karen Turner made a
motion to place a fine of $100 and have structure removed within 30 days, to be completed by May 7, 2020. Arthur
Morgan 2nd. Motion passed, 5-0.
Welcoming Committee:
There have been 31 responses to the survey. Posts have been made on Facebook and Next Door and a private group
has been be made on Facebook. April 9th at 6:30 a virtual happy hour is scheduled.
New Business:
Art Morgan made a motion to accept a bid of $200/month for 12 months from Kevin Egyed for lawn care of common
areas. Charlie Johns 2nd, motion passed 5-0
Nine outstanding accounts for maintenance fees, 2, (Bazan & Bush),of which are over 2 years old and will be referred to
the attorney.
Yard sale scheduled on May 2nd will be postponed to October 3rd, due to Covid 19 conditions. Philip will post on
Facebook.
Art Morgan made a motion to adjourn meeting 7:00 p.m. Theresa Morehous seconded. Motion passed
Next meeting- May 18th at 6:15.
